I wrote this song one afternoon in the midst of the pandemic while quarantined at my parents house in CT.
It was part of a project called 'Make Music' which connected strangers and songwriters together around the world to meet on Zoom and talk for about 30 minutes. I had that one day to write a song inspired by my conversation with this person. He lives in Alaska, wants to be a pilot like his father. I connected that with my own fear of flying and wrote this song.
